National Dental Advisory Council
As part of our corporate commitment to partner with our
network dentists, in 2003, United Concordia created our
National Dental Advisory Council (NDAC). The NDAC is
composed of eleven dentists from across the country
who provide an independent professional perspective on
issues associated with the dental community.
The National Dental Advisory Council's mission is
to advise the President and senior management of United
Concordia on issues associated with the dental community,
dental policy and benefit administration. The Council
provides professional feedback regarding new dental policies
and procedures as well as guidance on existing ones in light
of current trends in dental practice, benefited populations
and employers. All Council decisions are advisory and take
into account the overall corporate mission, vision and values.
In furthering its mission to provide professional guidance
and advice on a variety of industry topics, the Council
addresses the practicing dentists' perspective on
emerging dental technologies and the role of insurance
in the dental industry.
