United Concordia Makes Your TDP Billing Process Easier

United Concordia's Enrollment and Billing department has made enhancements to our billing system that interfaces with the military finance system. This upgrade provides several advantages. If your TDP premiums are being deducted from your DoD or Public Health Service payroll account, you will no longer be billed via a paper invoice when you owe a TDP premium amount that is less than twice your monthly premium - this amount will now be deducted from the sponsor's military payroll account when sufficient funds are available. An example would be when you go from a single plan enrollment to a family plan enrollment and the premium rate change misses the monthly payroll deduction process. Another example is when a Reserve member does not drill one month and therefore, no drill-pay is available in the military payroll account to pay the monthly premium. You will, however, still receive a paper invoice for any amount due in excess of twice the monthly premium. Please contact United Concordia's Enrollment and Billing Member Services department if you have questions regarding this process at eabem@ucci.com or call 1-888-622-2256.
